Élégance masculine

Quand j'ai vu la nouvelle collection de papier "A Proper Gentleman" de Graphic 45, j'ai pensé tout de suite à deux belles photos. L'une de mon grand-père et une autre de mon père prise dans les années 50. Alors je me suis dis: "pourquoi ne pas faire 3 tableaux montrant l'élégance à travers les époques sur 3 générations.... " Seul hic, c'est qu'il m'a été impossible de trouver une photo de mon frère en complet.... Qu'à cela ne tienne, aujourd'hui l'élégance se traduit d'une manière différente d'autrefois.

When I first saw the new collection of papers " A Proper Gentleman" from Graphic 45, I immediately thought about 2 beautiful photos. One was of my grandfather, and the other, of my father in the fifties. Then I told myself: "Why not make three pictures showing elegance through time with 3 generations.... Problem is, I couldn't find a photo of my brother in a suit. No problem, today, elegance defines itself in different ways than in the past.

Comme il n'est pas facile de trouver des canevas carrés, je les ai fabriqués moi-même en utilisant du carton rigide et du "Sticky Canvas" de Ranger. En recouvrant les cartons de canevas j'avais une belle surface texturée que je pouvais peindre à mon gré.

Since it is not easy to find square canvases, I made them myself using chipboard and Ranger's "Sticky Back Canvas". With the canvas, I had a good texture that I could paint as I wished.

J'aime vraiment les papiers Graphic 45. Ils sont faciles à utiliser dans des collages.
