Sweet Nymphéa

Voici ma première création pour la boutique Mon Scrapbook. J’ai découpé et fait le montage d’une photo 12 x 12 d’un nénuphar rose. Pour l’accompagner, j’ai créé un petit étang d’eau avec des fleurs confectionnées à partir d’une boite d’œufs en carton. Hé oui! Vous avez bien lu… Le recyclage peut parfois donner de très beaux résultats en matière de scrap. Merci à mon amie Blue pour cette superbe idée!

Here is my first creation for Mon Scrapbook store. I cut and reassemble a 12 x 12 photo of a pink water lily. I created a small pond with flowers made out from cardboard eggs. You read well … Recycling can sometimes give very beautiful results in scrap. Thanks to my friend Blue for this great idea!





Comment créer les fleurs? Découpez la partie où repose l’œuf pour ne laisser (plus ou moins) qu’un pouce à partir du fond. Taillez des pétales (4 ou 6) et arrondissez les contours. Pour le centre, vous pouvez découper et rouler une languette de carton. N’oubliez pas les petites feuilles pour décorer vos fleurs. Mes éléments ont été recouverts avec de la peinture Shimmerz.

How to create the flowers? Cut out the part where rests the egg and leave only an inch from the bottom. Cut petals (4 or 6) and round the edges. For the center, you can cut and roll a strip of cardboard. Remember the small leaves to decorate your flowers. My items were covered with Shimmerz paint.
