Voici ma première page avec la collection Renaissance Faire de la compagnie Graphic45. J'ai trouvé cette vieille photo dans les affaires de mon grand-père. En voyage à Montréal, sa soeur Marguerite et son frère Armand ont eu l'occasion de se rendre chez un photographe. C'était durant la Seconde Guerre Mondiale, juste avant le départ d'Armand pour la guerre. Here is my first page with Graphic45's Renaissance Faire collection. I found this old photo in my grandfather's things. When traveling to Montreal, his sister Marguerite and his brother Armand had the opportunity to get their picture taken by a photographer. It was during the Second World War, just before Armand's departure for war.



Pour les curieux, cette dentelle m'a été offerte par une amie. Elle l'a acheté dans une mercerie à Beyrouth au Liban... For the curious, this lace was offered to me by a friend. She bought it in a haberdashery in Beirut, Lebanon ...





Quand au cadre, j'ai appliqué sur un carton rigide deux couches de peinture brune et une couche de peinture crackle. Une fois sèche, j'ai vaporisé de la Walnut Ink pour accentuer le vieillissement. Ensuite, j'ai appliqué du glossy accent sur le cadre et saupoudré des cristaux BeaDazzles. For the frame, I applied two layers of brown paint and a coat of crackle paint on rigid cardboard. Once dried, I sprayed Walnut Ink to highlight ageing. Then, I applied glossy accents on the frame and sprinkled BeaDazzles.
