Pouvez-vous vous présenter en quelques mots?
Je suis Irene Tan alias scrapperlicious de la Malaisie. Une mère et une épouse d'une famille pleine d'amour et d'un grand soutien.


Quand et comment avez-vous découvert le scrapbooking?
En fait, le scrapbooking est venu à moi comme une voie naturelle d'écrire de la documentation et des photos au sujet de mon premier enfant, quand il est né en 2003, mais c'était fait de façon très rudimentaire. Je ne connaissais pas toutes les incroyables possibilités et produits de scrapbooking jusqu' en 2005, lorsque j'ai visité les USA.



















































Quel est votre processus créatif?
Tout commence avec les photos et l'ambiance que je souhaite créer dans la mise en page. Je vais faire mon choix de couleurs et d'embellissements en conséquence de celles-ci. Habituellement, avant de commencer, je vais essayer de visionner mon design dans ma tête et lors de la création, je vais changer, si nécessaire. Le temps nécessaire pour mener à bien une page pour moi dépend beaucoup de la complexité dont je veux qu'elle soit.


Avez-vous des outils, des matériaux ou des ornements de choix?
Il y a effectivement un certain nombre de choses que j'aime beaucoup. Bien sûr, les deux premières choses que je dois avoir sont mes ciseaux et ma colle. Les encres sont vraiment une nécessité dans tous mes travaux. Tous les produits qui pourraient m'aider à créer un effet distress sur mon travail serait certainement quelque chose que je voudrais avoir à portée de main lorsque je suis en création.

Avez-vous des conseils ou des conseils pour nous?
Mon conseil est très simple. "Scrappez avec votre coeur et n'oubliez pas d'avoir du plaisir aussi!". Rien n'est mauvais ou bon, tant que vous vous vous amusez à créer.





Can you introduce yourself in a few words?

I'm Irene Tan aka scrapperlicious from Malaysia. A mother and a wife to a very supportive and loving family.

When and how did you discover scrapbooking?

Scrapbooking actually came to me as a very natural way of documenting about my first child when he is born in 2003 but it was in a very raw way. I only knew about all the amazing scrapbooking products and ways of scrapbooking in 2005 when I visited the USA.

















































What is your creative process?
Everything starts with the photographs and the mood I want to create in the layout. I would choose colours and embellishment that works with it. Before I start, I normally will try to vision the design in head first and while creating, I'll change it around if necessary. The time taken to complete a page for me would depends very much on how complicated I want it to be.
Do you have any tools, materials or embellishments of choice?
There are actually quite a few stuffs that I'm fond of. Of course the first two things that I must have is my trustworthy scissors and my glue. Inks is really a neccessities in all my work. Any products that would help me to create a distressed look on my work would definitely be something I would want to have it within reach while I'm creating.
Do you have any tips or advice for us?
My advice is really simple. "Scrap with your heart and don't forget to have fun too!". Nothing is right or wrong as long as you have fun in creating it.
